About Thermowood Process

It is called Termowood when it is subjected to heat treatment in high-insulated giant ovens at temperatures between 180⁰C and 220⁰C. In order to prevent wood materials subjected to heat treatment from cracking, steam is also released into the oven. In this way, the amount of moisture in the wood is pushed to zero, while the chemical and harmful substances in the wood are also released. It has been determined that heat-treated woods do not experience problems such as warping, cracking and distortion on surfaces where they are used for much longer periods of time.

About Impregnation

It is a process carried out by injecting a protective substance into the wood or applying it to its outer surface. This process increases the resistance of the wood against various harmful factors and thus extends its lifespan.
