About Thermowood Process

Thermowood is the process of subjecting materials to heat treatment in highly insulated, massive furnaces at temperatures ranging from 180⁰C to 220⁰C. Heat-treated wood materials are simultaneously subjected to steam release inside a kiln to prevent cracking. This reduces the moisture content in the wood to almost zero, while also allowing chemicals and harmful substances within the wood to be removed. It has been observed that heat-treated wood does not experience warping, cracking, or bending problems for much longer periods on the surfaces where it is used.

About Impregnation

This is a process where a protective substance is injected into the wood or applied to its outer surface. This process increases the wood’s resistance to various harmful agents, thus extending its lifespan.
